Yuki Hebner

Yuki is a student in the Gene Regulation PhD program. She earned her MA/BA in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Wesleyan University, where she began her research career in the lab of Dr. Scott Holmes. Her project there focused on the interplay between the canonical, variant, and linker histones in establishing gene silencing as well as maintaining genomic integrity. She is excited to continue studying chromatin and asking questions about epigenetic influences on genome organization and expression.
